Review for Dracul

Authored by Dacre Stoker and J.D Barker

Everyone knows the story of Dracula, but do they know the story of Bram Stoker?

Dracul is a thrilling adventure of the story of young Bram Stoker’s life. Told in true Bram Stoker fashion by compiling notes, Bram Stoker’s diary entries, entries from Bram Stoker’s sister’s diary and special notes from Bram’s brother.

Parts of the story are fictionalized, and some parts really happened and the two authors blend fact and fiction so seamlessly that you wouldn’t notice or think it was weird when things start going bump in the night.

Dracul is a story of a young sickly Bram Stoker and his family living quite well in Ireland. Bram and his sister are quite close, and she helps take care of her bedridden brother. Things start getting spooky when the family nanny starts acting strange around the time as Bram is mysteriously cured of his deadly illness. After being cured Bram had special abilities that he never had before. He was suddenly very healthy, could see better in the dark and had a special new bond with the nanny that he can’t explain.

The story takes the reader through the Stoker children’s childhood and into their adult lives, where the siblings team up to solve the mysteries that have plagued their lives ever since their secretive nanny disappeared all those years ago.

Dracul is a very special story that takes everything you think you know and turns it on its head. The story is thrilling, suspenseful and even scary at times. It is such a great read and I fully recommend this book to everyone.

This book should be available October 2nd anywhere you buy books.
